Hi guys, it's been awhile. Got busy with work, my daughter's birthday (which I'll be posting later on just to share the pics of the celebration) and of course with household chores. (hay! super dami)
Anyways, just this afternoon, i decided to bake Cassava Cake! :p and this is my first attempt!
And because i love Cassava, i really wanted to try to make something i can substitute to what i always do to cook it. I usually boil it and then dip it in sugar, that's all. But i love them ginataan, as suman, and as cake!
I search for cassava cake recipe in the internet, and found a couple of variations, i hardly had the time to choose which one im going to use. I ended up, experimenting my own recipe.
Ingredients i use: Cassava roots shredded, granulated sugar, butter, coconut milk, fresh milk, all purpose cream and condense milk for toppings.
I know, i know you would probably notice the milk i use, ehehe. It actually comes out creamy!
This is my finished product, fresh from the oven.
My sister's comment, topping (condensed milk) is toocrunchy, I overcook that actually, ehehe see those browny part in the middle? But it adds to the yumminess, for me!
